Lagira Zhala Jee’s Couple Will Show You Tricks To Make A Long-Distance Relationship Work

Sheetal and Ajinkya make us believe that love exists even when it's put through miles of distance under gruelling conditions.

Amongst the realm of Marathi TV shows, Lagira Zhala Jee  easily comes under one of my favourites. Firstly, because unlike the other cliched serials, the protagonist, Sheetal (played by Shivani Baokar) is brave and intelligent. C’mon who doesn’t love smart women? Secondly, the romance between Sheetal and Ajinkya (played by Nitesh Chavan) has always stolen my attention. But, seeing the pair separated for months isn’t as easy as they both make it look like.

Watch them balance their long-distance relationship in Lagira Zhala Jee below:

If you are in the same situation as them, then, here are a couple of things you need to set to make your relationship work.

1. Honesty is truly the best policy

One thing that school taught you right was, being honest really helps, especially, with your partner. You can only establish a trust (which is the crux of the relationship) after being true to each other.

2. Communicate daily

Given the distance that separates, it is important to communicate, laugh out loud and raise your concerns (if any) with your partner. You can start this by validating your thoughts, knowing they are important and speaking to your partner about it.

3. Don’t overthink

Everyone around will have their version of opinions. Although they care for you and don’t ill-wish you, just trust your instincts, they know were your best interests exactly lie.

4. Value each other

One of the best things about long distance relationships is you value the time you get to talk to each other. Those few minutes of the days are important, and you never take them for granted.
