1. Cleanliness freak!
The recent episode of Kanala Khada saw late Laxmikanth Berde’s wife Priya Berde grace the stage of the show. As she was interviewed by Sanjay Mone, we realised she is just like our mom. Like the time, she asked her son, Abhinay to clean the room. Since he was busy eating something, he couldn’t do it. Priya had to do the work herself. After her kids, Abhinay and Swanandi, came back they were told by their mom if they want to live in the house they have to keep the house clean or find their own living.
Before you proceed, watch the interview below:
2. Study for exams
The Owalite Bhauraya actress also admitted that she never had to ask her daughter to study. Meanwhile, Abhinay always had his mother scolding him to focus on his academic. Doesn’t this remind of the school time when you had parents constantly ban you from playing and watching TV during exams?
3. Standing up for yourself
Our mothers have always taught us to stand up for ourselves and be strong. Priya, being no different, gave a good example. Once she and Swanandi had gone for a movie together. A man sitting next to them tried to grope Priya. Bravely, she beat him up and handed him to over to the cops.
4. Creating a ruckus on knowing the grades are bad
Ti Saddhya Kay Karte actor Abhinay was a part of his drama club while in college. Not being too inclined towards studying, he failed in 4/5 subjects. He hid his report card from his mom. After Priya found it, she gave scoldings to Abhinay, one that he remembers until today. This taught him to never hide things from her.
5. Our mom is our superhero
From waking up early in the morning to making sure he gets his grades right, Priya had to do it all, as admitted by Abhinay. She struggled to keep the family afloat and protected the kids in Laxmikant’s absence. Finally, Abhinay credited the success of the family to his mom.
